Maintenance Leader – Finishing

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Leader for the Finishing area at our Pinetown facility. The role combines hands‑on maintenance expertise with leadership to ensure equipment reliability and meet production KPIs. You will work closely with line managers and cross‑functional teams to drive safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve equipment efficiency across the finishing production line.
• Monitor process key performance indicators and take corrective action to resolve issues.
• Coordinate activities among different work processes to ensure smooth production flow.
• Manage site safety and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
• Lead World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives and support pillar activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 3‑5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with WCM applications.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Effective stakeholder management skills.
