Maintenance Co‑ordinator

About the role

Our client is looking for a proactive Maintenance Co‑ordinator to lead and execute daily maintenance, repairs and preventative programmes across their facilities in Krugersdorp. The role blends hands‑on technical work with supervisory responsibilities to ensure a safe, reliable and well‑maintained environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily maintenance activities and repairs.
• Perform hands‑on maintenance and general repair work when required.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Supervise contractors and maintenance staff as needed.
• Maintain facilities, equipment and infrastructure to high standards.
• Handle basic electrical, plumbing, welding, tiling, painting, and building repairs.
• Maintain irrigation systems, electric fencing and general grounds.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Source maintenance materials and manage stock and tools.
• Report maintenance issues and provide feedback on completed work.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a maintenance coordination or supervisory role.
• Strong hands‑on experience across multiple trades.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, welding, painting, tiling and general building maintenance.
• Experience with irrigation systems and electric fencing is advantageous.
• Strong problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
