Machine Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our Worcester Dried Fruit Plant. The successful candidate will run manufacturing, production and packaging equipment in line with standard operating procedures, ensuring safe and efficient output.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and packaging machinery according to SOPs.
• Perform pre‑start and ongoing machine checks to guarantee optimal performance.
• Complete all required documentation, including traceability records, operator checklists, “big 4” and cleaning logs.
• Meet daily production and quality targets while adhering to EHS and QFS standards.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow all safety and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a fruit‑processing or similar manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
