Luxury Travel Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Luxury Travel Sales Manager to lead the full sales cycle for high‑net‑worth clients in Cape Town. This office‑based position will act as the primary advisor for direct and trade enquiries, guiding guests from the first contact through to a confirmed booking and post‑travel follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth consultation calls with prospective guests across multiple time zones.
• Develop personalised proposals tailored to each guest’s preferences, physical ability and travel goals.
• Identify and support upselling opportunities across premium itineraries.
• Manage direct and trade enquiries across all market areas with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain proactive relationships with guests before, during and after travel.
• Collaborate with the administration team to ensure seamless booking logistics and trip preparation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact from initial enquiry through post‑travel follow‑up.

Required profile

• Proven consultative sales experience in luxury travel or a high‑value sales environment.
• Track record of managing and closing complex, multi‑stage sales with high‑net‑worth clients.
• Commercially driven with strong attention to detail and guest experience.
• Excellent emotional intelligence, credibility and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple moving parts and deliver a seamless, personalised service.
