Logistics Support Agent

About the role

The Logistics Support Agent will provide comprehensive administrative and analytical support to the distribution centre (DC) logistics function. You will be responsible for data capture, performance reporting and a range of day‑to‑day logistics processes, ensuring smooth operations and accurate information flow.

Key responsibilities

• Source logistics quotations and manage consumables ordering and tracking for the DC.
• Handle PTP follow‑up, snow ticket logging and GRIR management for all logistics purchase orders.
• Assist with vendor creation, temporary labour requisitions, time‑and‑attendance verification and weekly labour usage reporting.
• Administer owner‑driver documentation, ad‑hoc debit/credit creation and new driver onboarding.
• Populate daily and weekly KPI performance reports for the logistics team and support DPO/VPO ramp‑up plans.
• Manage daily delivery survey analysis, follow‑up calls and ad‑hoc requests from DC management.
• Raise Logistics FBI’s, manage O&G processes and provide general logistics administrative support.

Required profile

• Relevant 3‑year tertiary degree or diploma, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• At least 2 years of administrative experience (advantageous).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven with good verbal and written communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
