Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator – Durbanville

About the role

Our client, South Africa’s largest rose distributor, is looking for a proactive Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator to join their Durbanville team. The role involves managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and acting as the main liaison between growers, buyers, and transport providers in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the inventory management system.
• Coordinate stock levels, allocate orders, and monitor demand using internal software and Excel.
• Liaise with growers, suppliers, transport providers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Arrange and follow up on local and import deliveries, handling any supply‑chain issues that arise.
• Prepare administrative reports and maintain logistics documentation.
• Support strategic short‑term and long‑term planning for the supply chain.

Required profile

• Matric and a relevant Supply Chain/Logistics qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in a high‑velocity supply‑chain setting.
• Valid driver’s licence, own transport, and residence in the northern suburbs.
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (written and verbal).
• Willingness to work every fourth weekend and alternating public holidays (remote weekend work possible).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and strong numerical abilities (tested at interview).
