About the role

VBH Inc. Attorneys is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its Centurion office, focusing on recoveries and liabilities within insurance and commercial law. The successful candidate will handle a diverse portfolio of legal matters, defending claims through negotiation and courtroom advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a portfolio of litigation cases, ensuring effective defense of claims.
• Conduct negotiations and, when necessary, lead trials to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Make informed legal decisions that align with professional standards and client interests.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of trial procedures and apply them under pressure.

Required profile

• LL.B degree and admission as an attorney.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in litigation.
• Hardworking, resilient, with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage complex legal matters.

Required skills

• Extensive litigation experience.
• Knowledge of trial processes.
• Experience defending motor vehicle claims (advantage).
• Experience conducting trials (advantage).
