About the role
The Light Equipment Operator supports the City of Grovetown by performing daily tasks that keep the water and sewer system functional. This position involves a mix of construction, maintenance, and service activities performed under various weather conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and service water and sewer infrastructure.
- Perform construction, maintenance, and repair tasks as required.
- Operate small engine equipment, power tools, and light trucks safely and efficiently.
- Carry out heavy physical labor in adverse conditions.
- Follow safety protocols and city guidelines while on the job.
Required profile
- Ability to work outdoors and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to operate equipment in varying weather and site conditions.
