About the role
The Claims Legal Department at MiWay is seeking an enthusiastic Legal Recoveries Advisor to manage legal claims for personal and business insurance. This talent‑pool position is designed to build a network of qualified candidates for future opportunities within the legal team.
Key responsibilities
- Operate in accordance with claims guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Assist with the administration of insurance claims.
- Support the settlement of claims, including recoveries and liability matters.
- Handle recoveries related to motor vehicle accidents where applicable.
Required profile
- Minimum education: Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4; a related legal tertiary qualification is advantageous.
- Experience in a legal environment or similar role is beneficial.
- Knowledge of recoveries, liabilities and motor‑vehicle accident claims is a plus.
- Demonstrated self‑development, decision‑making, action orientation and effective communication.
