About the role

The legal insurance and services organisation seeks a Legal Professional to represent policy holders through informal mediation and negotiations. The role involves drafting letters and other legal documents and conducting consultations to resolve matters amicably.

Key responsibilities

Act on behalf of policy holders by facilitating informal mediation and negotiations.
Draft letters, legal documents and other correspondence related to policy holder matters.
Conduct consultations with policy holders to ensure amicable resolution of their issues.

Required profile

LLB degree; admission as an attorney or advocate is advantageous.
Fluency in Afrikaans and another official African language (two languages total).
Minimum 2 years post‑articles civil legal experience in a varied legal environment.
Strong drafting skills and high‑level legal knowledge.
Honesty, integrity, computer literacy and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
