Legal Operations Associate

About the role

This remote Legal Operations Associate position supports contract management activities by organizing, maintaining, and analysing legal information within modern legal‑operations platforms. You will work at the intersection of law, data and technology, helping to improve contract workflows and operational efficiency for an international team.

Key responsibilities

• Input, update and maintain contract‑related data in contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms.
• Review, organise and track key contract terms, deadlines, obligations and compliance requirements.
• Prepare reports, summaries and insights based on contract data to aid business and legal decision‑making.
• Collaborate with legal and operations teams to ensure contract information is accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Manage legal documentation with exceptional attention to detail.
• Communicate with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders to clarify contract information.
• Support administrative processes related to contract management and legal‑operations initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows by leveraging technology and organised data‑management practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 1‑2 years of experience in legal operations, legal assistance, paralegal work or a similar role.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience using legal‑technology platforms, CLM tools and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
• Interest in legal technology, process optimisation and digital transformation.
• Previous experience in a legal‑tech or fast‑paced business environment is an advantage.
