Legal Editor – AI Content Updating

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Editor who will lead the commissioning, development, and continuous evolution of authoritative legal content across both print and digital platforms. Using AI‑enabled tools and close collaboration with expert legal authors, you will ensure that our content stays current, accurate, and commercially relevant.

Key responsibilities

• Commission and manage legal content portfolios, aligning quality and timelines with strategic and commercial priorities.
• Recruit, onboard, and oversee external authors and reviewers, driving adoption of AI‑supported drafting and review models.
• Own the full commissioning lifecycle, including business case development, budgeting, contracts, schedules, and delivery of commercial benefits.
• Track legislative, regulatory, and case‑law developments with AI tools to prioritize updates and assess impact.
• Provide substantive editorial oversight, applying AI‑assisted updating and ensuring legal accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

Required profile

• Strong editorial experience in legal publishing or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with external authors and stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and experience handling budgets and contracts.
• Comfort with AI‑enabled research and content‑management tools.
