About the role

The Legal and Compliance Manager will safeguard the organisation by ensuring strict adherence to data privacy, labour, and corporate governance regulations. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the board, guiding strategic decisions through a legal lens.

Key responsibilities

Monitor and enforce compliance with data privacy, labour, and corporate governance standards.
Identify compliance gaps, design and implement internal controls to mitigate risks.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal contracts, commercial agreements, vendor deals, and service contracts.
Provide legal counsel to executives and board committees on regulatory changes and business decisions.
Manage overall legal risk exposure and develop mitigation strategies.
Conduct training sessions on ethical business practices and compliance policies.

Required profile

LLB degree and admission as an attorney.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal and compliance experience.
