Legal and Client Success Manager

About the role

Our client seeks a Legal and Client Success Manager to own the legal and contracting function while driving client engagements from inception to delivery. Based in Durban, you will act as the bridge between commercial teams, engineering delivery, and customers, ensuring contracts are sound and projects succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, NDAs and Service Level Agreements.
• Maintain a contract template library and keep contract records accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Advise the business on contractual risks and provide practical guidance.
• Scope client engagements end‑to‑end, run discovery sessions and translate requirements into clear scopes and timelines.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact for clients while the engineering team delivers projects.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• LLB degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Commercial contracting experience.
• Client success or client‑facing experience.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work confidently with both clients and internal technical teams.
• Based in Durban (preferred).
