Learning Practitioner (x9 positions)

About the role

The Learning Practitioner will support Sasol’s workforce by identifying learning needs, designing and delivering training interventions, and conducting assessments in line with legal and corporate standards. This role contributes to the global learning strategy and ensures that employees acquire the competencies required for safe and sustainable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify learning gaps through analysis of current versus required knowledge and skills.
• Research competency areas and define target learner profiles.
• Design, develop or select appropriate learning methodologies and modules, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Facilitate delivery of learning interventions using a variety of methods.
• Guide learners in applying new skills within the workplace through projects and assignments.
• Conduct assessments in accordance with unit standards and legislative requirements.
• Evaluate assessment outcomes, analyse performance data and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor learning effectiveness and report measurable improvements in job performance.
• Support line managers in competence evaluation and gap identification.

Required profile

• Experience in identifying learning needs and designing interventions.
• Ability to assess skills gaps and develop appropriate learning solutions.
• Strong understanding of learning legislation and corporate learning frameworks.
• Competence in facilitating training and guiding learners toward practical application.
• Analytical mindset for evaluating assessment results and performance data.
