About the role
Beyond Grad offers a 12-month internship for a Leading Brands Operations Intern. The intern gains working experience in the daily operations of a quick service or casual dining restaurant under supervision, working across all sections of the restaurant.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the daily operations of a restaurant, from opening to closing
- Work across all sections within a restaurant
- Supervise a team on duty, motivate and lead them
- Provide on-the-job training and coach individuals and teams
- Manage inventory, ordering and issuing of stock
- Maintain operational standards in restaurants and give detailed feedback on findings
- Protect brand integrity through compliance
- Interact with customers and handle queries and complaints
Required profile
- Minimum tertiary food-related service qualification (e.g. Hospitality)
- Matric mandatory
- South African citizen or EEA national
- Aged between 18 and 28
- Has never been on a YES programme before
