Lead Technical Architect

About the role

The Lead Technical Architect (also known as Solution Architect or Principal Technical Consultant) is a senior position within a Temenos project team. You will define the overall architectural and non‑functional design, act as the main technical interface between the project team and the client, and ensure the solution meets all contractual and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver viable technical solutions that align with business needs, contractual obligations and project timelines.
• Identify, evaluate and mitigate technical risks, ensuring high availability, performance and disaster‑recovery capabilities.
• Represent Temenos in the Design Authority, promote reference architectures and ensure adherence to the Temenos Implementation Methodology.
• Collaborate with project managers to prevent scope creep and maintain transparency throughout the design process.
• Supervise technical system amendment requests, oversee integration interfaces, APIs and message queues, and support UAT from a continuity perspective.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of software technical consultancy experience, including T24 implementation in a banking environment.
• Strong knowledge of Temenos products, T24 architecture and related interfaces.
• Proven stakeholder management and leadership skills, with the ability to coach other technical consultants.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
