Lead Specialist - Corporate Investment Sales

About the role

Are you an experienced investment sales professional with a strong track record in institutional investments, employee benefits, asset management, or retirement fund solutions? We are looking for a Lead Specialist – Corporate Investment Sales to drive growth across the employee benefits and institutional investment market, focusing on winning new business, building strategic relationships, and delivering tailored investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and secure new institutional and employee benefits investment mandates.
• Build relationships with employee benefit consultants, trustees, HR and finance executives.
• Present investment solutions, proposals, tenders, and client presentations.
• Drive growth across umbrella funds, annuities, and institutional investment portfolios.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve growth targets.
• Provide market insights and investment commentary to clients and intermediaries.
• Ensure compliance with FSCA, FAIS, TCF, and related regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Investments, or a related field.
• 5‑8+ years' experience in investment sales, institutional distribution, or employee benefits sales.
• Experience within asset management, life insurance, investments, retirement funds, or employee benefits.
• Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio construction, and retirement savings solutions.
• Proven business development and relationship management track record.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
