Laundry Assistant – Full-Time

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Laundry Assistant to join our internal facilities team in Cape Town. The role combines daily cleaning duties with full‑cycle laundry management to keep office spaces and linens spotless.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily sanitation checklists across common areas, desks, kitchens and meeting rooms while handling washing, drying, folding, ironing and storage of linens and uniforms.
• Perform periodic deep‑cleaning, glass polishing and specialised stain treatment for corporate fabrics and upholstery.
• Support events and workshops by preparing spaces, tidying after sessions and maintaining fresh hospitality linens.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning chemicals, detergents, stain removers and paper supplies, reporting low stock as needed.
• Use a mobile application to receive, update and close cleaning and laundry tickets throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work independently on physical cleaning and laundry tasks.
• Strong attention to detail gained in commercial office, hotel, or high‑standard housekeeping environments.
• Professional, polite and trustworthy attitude aligned with company culture.
• Comfortable managing daily task checklists via mobile platforms.
