Ladieswear Senior Designer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Designer to lead the Ladieswear design function, overseeing the full design lifecycle from trend research to final production. The role will work closely with merchandising, production and buying teams to deliver commercially successful collections.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the design department, including trend forecasting, range building and CAD development.
• Create and update best‑selling designs in collaboration with the Production and Merchandise Executive.
• Develop new ranges, prints and graphics for Ladieswear, Kidswear and Menswear.
• Produce comprehensive tech packs, colour palettes, specifications and artwork for the production team.
• Approve strike‑offs, lab dips and oversee the fitting process to ensure compliance with buyer requirements.
• Coordinate with buyers, merchandisers and the QA team to incorporate feedback and drive sales.
• Conduct overseas travel and research to stay ahead of fashion trends.

Required profile

• Senior Ladieswear Fashion Designer with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead design projects from concept to delivery within established timelines.

Required skills

• Advanced CAD proficiency.
• Tech‑pack creation and specification development.
• Trend forecasting and range building.
• Costing and budget approval.
• Knowledge of fitting processes, lab dip approval and QA procedures.
