Labour Law Litigator

About the role

We currently have an exciting position available for a Labour Law Litigator, to be working within our Pretoria branch.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of Labour Law ADR matters, from investigation through arbitration.
• Provide Labour Law advice, consult with clients, and preside over disputes.
• Analyse risk, research recent case law, and prepare clients for disputes.
• Draft correspondence to clients, CCMA/Council, unions and employee representatives.
• Gather and analyse evidence, prepare witness testimonies.
• Represent clients at conciliation, arbitration and pre‑arbitration proceedings.
• Update case status in the client management system.
• Maintain high client retention and success ratios in assigned disputes.

Required profile

• LLB or B‑Degree in IR/Law/HR/Industrial Psychology or related field.
• Admission as an Attorney or experience in CCMA/BC dispute resolution (advantageous).
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Customer‑first mindset with eagerness to learn Labour Law intricacies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
