Labour Law Consultant

About the role

Labournet is seeking a Labour Law Consultant to join its Middleburg branch. You will support a portfolio of clients on a wide range of industrial relations matters, ensuring compliance and delivering expert advice.

Key responsibilities

• Retain and service clients on all IR issues, following scheduled contacts.
• Chair disciplinary inquiries and draft judgments for clients.
• Issue warnings and ensure compliance with labour regulations.
• Draft and implement workplace policies.
• Handle complex matters such as wage negotiations, strike management, and retrenchments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience with a B. Degree or equivalent in HR, IR, LLB or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Industrial Relations.
• Customer‑first mindset with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
