Labour Law Consultant – HR/IR Specialist

About the role

Labournet is seeking a Labour Law Consultant to join its Johannesburg branch. You will support a diverse client base on a wide range of industrial relations matters, ensuring compliance and strategic guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Retain and service clients on all IR issues, following scheduled contacts.
• Chair disciplinary inquiries and draft client judgments.
• Issue warnings, draft and implement workplace policies.
• Handle complex matters such as wage negotiations, strike management and retrenchments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, IR, LLB or related field (minimum 3 years).
• At least 1 year of experience in industrial relations.
• Customer‑first mindset with strong communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
