About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Labour Law Attorney Associate to join our Durban office. The role involves providing high‑quality legal counsel on employment matters and representing clients in various labour dispute forums.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel on labour law matters.
• Represent clients in CCMA hearings, Labour Court proceedings, and settlement negotiations.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and case briefs.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and ensure top‑tier representation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to achieve successful case outcomes.

Required profile

• Admitted attorney with a focus in labour/employment law.
• Minimum of 3 years hands‑on experience in labour law, including representation in CCMA and/or Labour Court.

Required skills

• Legal research and analysis.
• Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions and case briefs.
• Representation in CCMA hearings and Labour Court proceedings.
