Junior Software Quality Analyst

About the role

The Junior Software Quality Analyst will support the testing lifecycle by designing, executing, and maintaining test artefacts to ensure software quality. This role involves close collaboration with development and business teams to verify that applications meet functional and non‑functional requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and specifications to design a strategic test approach ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Develop and maintain manual functional test cases in line with internal standards, using the designated test management tool.
• Execute functional tests methodically, log defects, monitor their resolution, and retest corrected issues.
• Conduct regression testing and maintain the regression test pack to verify that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Produce test progress and completion reports, leveraging automated reporting capabilities wherever possible.
• Document test procedures and share knowledge within the team to promote best practices.
