Junior Software Implementation Engineer (Graduate)

About the role

This position is designed for a recent graduate who wants to start a career in software implementation within the financial and investment sector. You will join a skilled implementation team in Rosebank, Johannesburg, working directly with high‑profile clients on enterprise software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse client business requirements.
• Assist with software configuration, implementation and testing.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide low‑level software development support when needed.
• Perform quality‑assurance activities and ensure successful delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• BSc or BEng degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field from a recognised South African university.
• Excellent academic record with at least 70% in Mathematics and Physical Science at Matric.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Passion for technology and willingness to travel to client sites.
