About the role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Sales Merchandiser to join our team in Durban. The role supports the sales and merchandising functions within a retail environment, ensuring smooth order processing and effective customer communication.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with customers and manage follow‑ups on orders and requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate product information, quotations, and order documentation.
- Track orders, identify risks or delays, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Liaise with internal support staff throughout the order process.
- Maintain accurate sales records and perform other related functions as expected.
Required profile
- Minimum matric (high school) qualification.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Approximately 2‑3 years of experience in sales support, merchandising, order processing, customer service, or procurement support.
