About the role
Are you a numerically strong, analytical individual looking to build your career in Merchandise Planning, Retail Analysis or Data Analysis? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, less corporate environment and work with leading international brands. The role is based in Cape Town and is open to South African citizens only.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandise and product plans.
- Analyse sales, seasonal trends and customer behaviour.
- Forecast stock, sales and margins.
- Monitor inventory levels and stock performance.
- Produce regular KPI and performance reports.
- Identify improvement opportunities and recommend action plans.
- Collaborate with sales, supply chain, design and marketing teams.
- Support risk assessment and forecasting process improvements.
Required profile
- Degree in B.Com, Business Science, Logistics or a related field.
- 1–3 years experience in a similar environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP planning software (advantageous).
