Junior Quality Control Inspector

About the role

A manufacturing company in Johannesburg is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Quality Control Inspector to ensure that all products meet the required quality and compliance standards throughout the production process.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of incoming materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished goods.
• Identify and document non‑conformances and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to verify product specifications.
• Communicate findings to production teams and assist in problem‑solving.
• Work overtime when production demands require it.

Required profile

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in quality control inspection.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication and administrative abilities.
• Product knowledge within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 knowledge.
• Technical drawing interpretation.
