Junior Project Engineer

An established engineering solutions company is looking for a motivated Junior Project Engineer to support its project delivery team in Johannesburg. Key responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers in planning, coordinating and executing engineering projects.
• Support the management of project timelines, budgets and deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams to ensure clear communication and smooth execution.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation and regular progress updates.
• Monitor and track project milestones and key performance indicators.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem‑solving and decision‑making.

Required profile

• BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering (essential).
• Minimum 1 year experience in project management or a related engineering role.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
• Passion for engineering projects and a desire to grow within project management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with project management software.
