About the role
We are offering a dynamic 12‑month or 18‑month internship programme for young people in Tygervalley, Cape Town. The programme is designed to equip unemployed youth with essential retail merchandising skills and hands‑on experience while working alongside seasoned professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Determine stock to be merchandised and draw stock requirements.
- Check product quality, vintage, shelf rotation and price tags.
- Execute merchandising activities according to the cycle brief.
- Record merchandising activities and execute calls as per call cycle.
- Provide feedback on customer complaints, queries and requests.
- Communicate product and promotion knowledge and advise RSM on out‑of‑stock products.
Required profile
- Age between 18 and 28 years.
- Hold an N6 TVET Certificate, NCV Level 4 Certificate, or NSC Matric.
- No prior work experience required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a professional environment.
