Junior Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Maintenance Technician to join our fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for a newly qualified Millwright, Electrical or Mechatronics technician who wants to develop skills in fault finding, preventative maintenance and equipment installation.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to electrical and mechanical breakdowns promptly.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Minimise downtime during line set‑ups and changeovers.
• Maintain safe working practices, housekeeping standards and support overall maintenance activities as directed by management.

Required profile

• Formal qualification in Millwright, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Successful completion of the Millwright Trade Test.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Working knowledge of PLC and HMI systems.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Self‑driven, able to work under pressure and willing to perform overtime or standby duties when required.
