About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Litigation Attorney to join our Pretoria office. The role involves handling civil and commercial litigation matters for a busy law firm, providing tailored legal advice and representing clients in various courts.
Key responsibilities
- Manage general litigation matters, including civil and commercial cases.
- Draft legal documents, liaise with clients and counsel, and provide tailored legal advice.
- Appear in court, represent clients, and stay updated on legislative and case law developments.
- Maintain efficient administrative systems and accurate record‑keeping.
Required profile
- Young, professional Afrikaans‑speaking individual (male preferred).
- Bachelor of Laws degree completed and admitted as an Attorney or awaiting admission.
- 0–3 years post‑admission experience in general litigation.
- Stable employment record with contactable references.
- Residing in Pretoria and available to start immediately.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of procedural rules for Magistrate’s Court, Regional Court and High Court.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
