About the role
Are you a qualified LLB professional looking to grow your career in a dynamic logistics and freight environment? We are seeking a Junior Legal & Risk Counsel to support the Head of Legal & Risk in Johannesburg.
Key responsibilities
- Commercial contracts and contract drafting
- Legal and risk management
- Insurance and claims handling
- Regulatory compliance and legal research
- Corporate governance
- Maritime, logistics and transport‑related matters
- Risk registers, policies and compliance documentation
Required profile
- LLB degree (essential)
- Completed articles or equivalent corporate/commercial legal, risk or compliance experience
- Strong contract drafting and interpretation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Logistics, supply chain or maritime exposure advantageous
