Junior Insurance Sales Administrator

About the role

We are a well‑established insurance brokerage looking for a detail‑driven Junior Insurance Sales Administrator to join our close‑knit team in the Durban area. This position offers the chance to work directly with the Director, develop strong client and insurer relationships, and grow your career in short‑term insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Source quotations from insurers for new and existing commercial and personal lines clients.
• Liaise with clients and insurance companies via phone and written communication.
• Prepare quote requests and verify returned quotations.
• Compile polished, client‑ready quotations and issue new business.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client records.
• Support the team with general sales, insurance, and quotation administration tasks.

Required profile

• Matric qualification plus a completed RE.
• Solid working knowledge of short‑term insurance.
• At least 2 years of current short‑term insurance administration experience.
• Exposure to new business administration or quoting is a strong advantage.
• Based in Berea or surrounding areas and available to start immediately.
