About the role

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our medical practice in Cape Town as a Junior Front Office & Patient Experience Receptionist. This internship is ideal for recent Matric graduates, students, or those on a gap year who want hands‑on experience in healthcare administration and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and check‑in clients, creating a warm first impression.
• Manage bookings and appointments using the practice’s scheduling system.
• Handle reception duties and general administration tasks.
• Assist with client communications, including phone calls and emails.
• Support stock control and operational administration.
• Contribute to delivering an exceptional client experience.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Reliable transport to Cape Town CBD and a valid South African ID or work permit.
• Comfortable learning multiple AI and software platforms and adapting to changing business needs.
• Proactive, organized, and able to take ownership without waiting for direction.
• Interest in health, fitness, and wellbeing, and a personal commitment to self‑care.
• Ability to interact confidently with professionals, executives, and diverse clients.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or reception is helpful but not required.
