Junior Financial Planning Partner Assistant

About the role

Our client is seeking a Junior Financial Planning Partner Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative, operational and client service support to Financial Planning Partners. The role acts as a liaison between the planning practice, clients, product providers and regional support teams, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of client requirements and transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional client service, acting as the primary point of contact and following up on client requirements.
• Collect and collate client information, prepare documentation for engagements, and capture FICA and AML data during onboarding.
• Manage administration of client transfers, new business transactions, and intermediary appointments with product providers.
• Check commission statements, follow up on outstanding commissions, and support portfolio managers with mandates and applications.
• Prepare client portfolios, maintain policy schedules, and ensure accurate data integration across CRM and other systems.
• Assist with organising client events, handling RSVPs, venues and related administration.

Required profile

• 2–3 years’ experience within the financial services industry (advantageous).
• Relevant tertiary education or financial‑services related courses.
• Knowledge of FAIS and FICA legislation (advantageous).
• Experience working with Xplan (advantageous).
