Junior Digital Designer – Cape Town (Office-based)

About the role

We are looking for two enthusiastic Junior Digital Designers to join a fast‑moving marketing team in Maitland, Cape Town. This office‑based position offers recent graduates or designers with up to two years’ experience the chance to create compelling visual content across digital, print, retail and product launch channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design artwork for websites, social media, email campaigns, digital ads and e‑commerce platforms.
• Create marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, point‑of‑sale displays, presentations and banners.
• Develop packaging artwork and promotional material for new product launches.
• Edit and retouch product photography and assist with basic video editing, animation and motion graphics.
• Resize and adapt assets for multiple formats and maintain an organised digital asset library.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product Development and other stakeholders to interpret briefs and deliver creative solutions.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design or a related field.
• Graduate applicants are welcome; 1–2 years’ experience in a design or marketing environment is a plus.
• Exposure to FMCG, retail or food manufacturing is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
• Familiarity with Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint and the Microsoft Office suite.
