Junior Data Analyst – Commercial Insights

About the role

The company is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to turn data into actionable commercial insights that support sales, pricing and executive decision‑making. You will work with multiple data sources to improve forecasting accuracy, pricing governance and overall business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Source, consolidate, clean and validate data from accounting systems, SharePoint, semantic models and Excel files.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, margin risks and performance patterns.
• Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports, primarily using Excel.
• Maintain data models for forecasting, budgeting and performance tracking.
• Automate recurring reports and data processes to reduce manual effort.
• Develop KPIs, sales targets, budgets and performance scorecards aligned to business objectives.
• Maintain customer price books for fuel and lubricants and manage monthly price adjustments.
• Support tender submissions, new‑business initiatives and provide analytical input for growth strategies.

Required profile

• Business‑related graduate.
• Minimum 2 years of office/administrative experience in an operationally intensive environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with commercial acumen.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Experience with Power BI (advantageous).
• Familiarity with SharePoint and semantic data models.
• Data modelling and forecasting.
• KPI development and performance tracking.
• Dashboard development and process automation.
