About the role
SupportFinity is seeking a Junior Chemical Engineer to monitor production processes, support process design and development, and provide operational troubleshooting within its Pretoria facility.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor production processes to ensure they operate within established parameters and performance targets.
- Collect and analyse process data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in optimizing process conditions to improve yield, quality, energy efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Support the design and modification of chemical processes, equipment, and systems.
- Assist in developing process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and technical documentation.
- Participate in pilot trials, testing, and validation of new or improved processes.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve process‑related issues.
