Junior BPM Developer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior BPM Developer to join our team in Johannesburg. The role is entry‑level and client‑facing, working under senior consultants to analyse business processes and help deliver workflow automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse client requirements and process challenges.
• Design, develop and implement BPM and workflow solutions using BPMN principles.
• Configure workflows, business rules, forms and automation logic on platforms such as AppWorx, Staffware, TIBCO, Lombardi/IBM BPM or Metastorm.
• Assist with integrations between BPM, ECM and other enterprise systems.
• Support testing, deployment, training and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers and client stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or recent graduate with up to two years’ experience).
• Practical or academic exposure to BPM or workflow automation platforms.
• Understanding of BPM, BPMN, business rules and automation methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong client‑service orientation and problem‑solving skills.
• Clean criminal record and valid South African driver’s licence.
