Junior Bookkeeper – Centurion (On-site)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join our fast‑paced finance team in Centurion. This on‑site role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records and supporting end‑to‑end bookkeeping up to the trial balance.

Key responsibilities

• Process full creditors and debtors cycles.
• Perform supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Capture and maintain financial records using Xero.
• Prepare daily payment schedules and handle remittances.
• Execute bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Update the fixed asset register.
• Assist with month‑end closing and audit preparation.
• Process expense claims and resolve account queries.
• Maintain organised electronic filing systems.

Required profile

• Matric with Accounting and a Bookkeeping Certificate.
• At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on Xero experience.
• Exposure to a financial services environment is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping up to trial balance.

Required skills

• Xero accounting software.
