Junior Associate / Paralegal – Remote (South Africa)

About the role

DMX Partners is seeking a highly organised Junior Associate or Paralegal to support private‑funds transactions on a fully remote basis. You will work closely with fund managers, investors and external counsel, gaining exposure to sophisticated private‑market deals from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with a broad range of private‑funds matters, including primary fundraisings, secondary transactions and co‑investments.
• Review, draft and finalise legal and transaction documentation.
• Coordinate transaction timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communications.
• Liaise with clients, fund managers, investors, administrators and external counsel.
• Support investor onboarding processes, including AML/KYC, tax documentation and subscription requirements.
• Review fund documentation and help resolve legal and operational issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 1 year of transactional experience in M&A, real estate, private equity or funds.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast‑paced, international environment.
