About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join the finance team of a fast‑paced restaurant and hotel group. The role focuses on bookkeeping, payroll processing and maintaining accurate financial records in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Process large payroll runs, including commission and tip calculations.
- Maintain supporting documentation and reconcile financial records.
- Assist with month‑end closing activities as required.
Required profile
- Matriculation certificate and a relevant accounting qualification (SAIPA candidates welcome).
- Experience with large payroll processing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with commission and tip payroll processing.
