IT Support Specialist

About the role

Magnum Opus Consultants (MOC) is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to a client based in Los Angeles, USA. The role is office‑based in Pretoria and involves supporting end‑users with hardware, software and Microsoft 365 services while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals and software applications.
• Handle support requests via the ticketing system, email, Microsoft Teams and phone.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and Microsoft 365 issues, escalating complex cases when needed.
• Document solutions and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge sharing.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and user account management.
• Assist with user onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an IT support, desktop support or systems support role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a team.
• Effective communication skills.
