IT Internship – Gain Hands‑On Experience

About the role

The Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) is looking for motivated IT Interns to support its technology initiatives and gain practical experience in a dynamic public‑sector environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues for staff members.
• Provide technical support for computer systems, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.
• Help manage and maintain IT inventory, including hardware and software assets.
• Assist in the development and implementation of IT security measures.
• Collaborate with team members on IT projects and initiatives.
• Provide basic training and support to staff members on IT‑related matters.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the IT field.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong interest in IT and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in IT support or a related field is an advantage but not required.
