IT Installer

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of IT and network infrastructure solutions, is seeking a skilled IT Installer to join the team in Bloemfontein. The role involves installing, terminating and testing cabling and network equipment for various projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, terminate and test CAT6 and fibre optic cabling.
• Install and connect CCTV cameras, Wi‑Fi access points, switches and network cabinets.
• Troubleshoot and repair cabling and device faults.
• Route, label and secure cables according to site standards.
• Maintain equipment records and monitor stock levels.
• Provide daily IT operational support and assist with installations.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate (NQF 4) or equivalent.
• Minimum three years’ experience in an IT environment.
• At least two years’ experience with IT hardware, network infrastructure, CCTV and fibre installations.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal transport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Ability to operate power tools and fibre splicing equipment.
• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
