IT Auditor – Data‑Driven Financial Audit

About the role

Step into a high‑impact position where IT, data, and financial audit intersect. You will apply analytical rigor to assess technology controls and translate findings into business‑relevant risk insights.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audit procedures supporting financial statement audits, focusing on ITGCs and ITACs across access, change management and operations.
• Evaluate control effectiveness, identify deficiencies and link findings to financial risks.
• Perform data analytics on full data populations using SQL, advanced Excel and Power BI to uncover trends and anomalies.
• Collaborate with audit teams and engage client stakeholders to understand systems, data flows and business processes.
• Contribute to the development of analytics‑driven audit methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum three years of IT audit experience within an audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of ITGCs, ITACs and financial systems.
• Progress toward CISA or similar certification is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience with Power BI for visual analytics.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and other enterprise applications.
