About the role

Our client, a leading company in the agricultural milling sector, is looking for an IT Assistant to join the Bloemfontein team. You will support daily IT operations, ensuring that hardware and software are well‑maintained and that the workplace stays tidy and functional.

Key responsibilities

Carry, handle, and transport IT tools and equipment safely.
Clean and maintain IT equipment, work areas, and the IT storeroom (fortnightly).
Assist with routine IT tasks, collect hardware/parts, and inspect equipment.
Conduct monthly stock counts and support inventory management.
Maintain cleanliness across all departments related to IT.

Required profile

National Senior Certificate (NQF 4) or equivalent.
Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
Good general computer skills.
At least 1 year of experience in IT support.

Technical aptitude.

What we offer

Salary ranging from R10,000 to R17,600, depending on experience.
Standard working hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
Immediate start date.
