Invoicing Financial Assistant (Pretoria East)

About the role

A dynamic team in Pretoria is looking for an accurate, organized, and reliable Financial Assistant to support the Finance Department. Reporting to the Financial Managers, you will handle day‑to‑day back‑office accounting, postings, bank reconciliations, and assist with monthly reporting cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and issue client invoices and credit notes.
• Assist with creditors reconciliations, allocations, and related accounts payable tasks.
• Perform basic bookkeeping, including regular bank reconciliations.
• Support preparation of monthly financial reports, asset registers, expense tracking and stocktake.
• Prepare documentation required by banks and external institutions.
• Provide ad‑hoc assistance across the finance department as needed.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential); tertiary finance qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance or bookkeeping.
• At least 2 years recent hands‑on experience with Pastel or Sage Evolution.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; competent in Word and Outlook.
• Prior experience in accounts payable is highly beneficial.

What we offer

• Permanent contract.
• Salary range R15,000 – R20,000 per month, negotiable based on experience.
